Group (Hockey Clinic) Lessons Include:
50 minute instruction period! Our 50 minute clinic periods for beginners is a full 50 minutes of lesson time. 25 minutes is spent receiving skating instruction with a PSA professional instructor. Another 25 minutes is spent on stick skills and receiving tutoring with the help of our higher level players and volunteers. Our hockey volunteers are parents and young adults who are participating in various BHSA leagues and have become wonderful role models for our newest players. BHSA's entire lesson period is spent helping your child prepare for a future in hockey.
A few items to note... A certified hockey helmet (with mask), gloves, knee pads, elbow pads and hockey stick are required for the clinic. Clinic skaters and volunteers must be registered via www.USAHockey.com and pay a $35 annual fee (valid 9/1/07 - 8/31/08). $35 fee breaks down to a $5 Mass & $30 USA Hockey fee, both are combined during payment process on-line. You need to print out your confirmation number and turn in a copy at the attendance table. Skaters 6 and younger are not charged the $35 fee, however they still need to register and turn in their USA Hockey numbers.
